Places and People
[edit | edit source]Glimmer
[edit | edit source]A magical planet of crystal, inhabited by many mystical creatures. People can travel between Earth and Glimmer using portals[1], doorways between worlds enchanted with extremely strong teleportation magic. Some intelligent races that reside on Glimmer include: Fairies, Humans, and Luminae
Chalcedonia
[edit | edit source]The kingdom in which Rosalia, Diana, and Amber are from. It's one of the more politically powerful kingdoms in all of Glimmer.
Crystal Warriors
[edit | edit source]Legendary Heroes that save the world when it’s in great peril. In a way, it could be considered its own new type of creature as beings who become Crystal Warriors receive great power and abilities that no other being has. Anyone with a strong heart and a great desire to protect others can become a Crystal Warrior.[2]
Humans
[edit | edit source]Common race with extremely low arcane ability, although it's possible for them to learn. Humans are known for being quite weak to magic compared to other races, but they have incredible stamina, are resilient, and tenacious. Humans can't teleport or shapeshift, and they have very short life-spans. A human who masters arcanology and potion-making is a Witch.
Fairies
[edit | edit source]The most populous race that inhabits Glimmer. Fairies are marked by their ability to shapeshift[1] and disguise themselves. Fairies come in different subspecies such as Chatolite, Lupinite, Draconite, Pteritite, and more. Fairies are known for their affinity toward tricks and mischief, they are sensitive to magic, and are able to sense dark energy.
Luminae
[edit | edit source]Rare winged beings of light with incredibly high amounts of arcane ability. They're the most magically sensitive being on Glimmer and their powers are based on emotions. The Luminae, with the exception of Rosalia, are said to have all sacrificed themselves to avoid being turned into Nightmares.[1]
Beasts
[edit | edit source]Large monstrous races of megafauna that inhabit Glimmer. They are powerful, but dangerous, and live long life spans. Fairies view them as a delicacy.[3]
Nightmare
[edit | edit source]Monsters that feed off of the negative emotions of people. They're a physical manifestation of the victims' fear, anxiety, hatred, grief, and sorrow.
Nightmare Agency
[edit | edit source]A villainous group with the goal of collecting negative energy and awakening the Princess of Darkness.[1] They use Nightmare Crystals and Nightmares to achieve this.
Items and Ideas
[edit | edit source]
Heart Jewel
[edit | edit source]The physical form of a soul.[1] Each Heart Jewel comes in unique colors and sizes. All creatures have one; Fairies, Luminae, and Crystal Warriors typically wear theirs on their physical body[1]. The glow and shine of a Heart Jewel indicates the owner's health.[4] Once a lifeform dies, their Heart Jewel shatters and their soul is released to the afterlife.

Nightmare Crystal
[edit | edit source]A special tool used by the Nightmare Agency to create monsters. Invented by Druzy and powered by negative emotions. They are formed after the Nightmare Crystal attaches itself to the victim's Heart Jewel and absorbs their energy.
Purification
[edit | edit source]The act of cleansing a Heart Jewel of the Nightmare attached to it and restoring the soul and damage it's created to its former state. Not all magic is purification-based
Miracle Link
[edit | edit source]The henshin device of the current generation of Crystal Warriors. It's locked to the Heart Jewel it was formed from, and can't be used by others. Each Warrior's phone is automatically installed into each other's contacts for easy communication.[5] The Miracle Link alerts its user when a monster is nearby, and can automatically pinpoint the location of other members of the team when they are transformed.[6][7]
Shape-shifting
[edit | edit source]An extremely difficult form of specialized magic that is used for changing ones appearance, often for practicality's sake or deception. Fairies are known for their ability to use shape-shifting magic.
MagiSP Comlink
