Nightmares

Nightmares are the main monsters in Magical Warrior Diamond Heart. They are formed after the Nightmare Crystal attaches itself to the victim's Heart Jewel and absorbs their energy.

The form they take is formed by the victims personality, and combat techniques are informed in part by the guidance of the agent controlling them.

Overview

Nightmares are monsters created by using the Nightmare Crystals. They're a physical manifestation of the victims' fear, anxiety, hatred, grief, and sorrow. As the monster grows more powerful, the victim becomes weaker until their magic, strength, and will to live have all disappeared entirely. Humans are typically the targets used to create Nightmares. Fairies are sensitive to the dark energy produced by the Nightmares and because of this, they're able to sense when a Nightmare is nearby.
