The Nightmare Agency

The Nightmare Agency is a villainous group with the goal of collecting negative energy and awakening the Princess of Darkness. Led by Druzy Quartz, the agency utilizes Nightmare Crystals, a device invented by Druzy herself, in order to create monsters called Nightmares: beasts manifested from their hosts dark emotions.

The agency is managed primarily by Chrysoberyl, one of the highest ranking executives in the group and second only to Druzy herself.

Nightmares

Nightmares are monsters created by using the Nightmare Crystals. They're a physical manifestation of the victims' fear, anxiety, hatred, grief, and sorrow. The form they take is formed by the victims personality, and combat techniques are informed partly due to personal preference and partly from the guidance of the agent controlling them. As the monster grows more powerful, the victim becomes weaker until their magic, strength, and will to live have all disappeared entirely. are typically the targets used to create Nightmares.

Fairies are more sensitive to the dark energy produced by the Nightmares and because of this, they're able to sense when a Nightmare is nearby.

Nightmare Crystals
